I totally forget that I’m really older that i feel. I often forget that life never happens the way I want it to. I usually forget that I’m not alone. I mostly forget that sleep is necessary to function. I almost never forget that i am loved. I can’t forget that God loves me. I wont forget to love others. I shouldn’t forget that I am awesome. I will not forget you.

I often Wondered what Mary Poppins thought when she left the people she took care of. Was there a deep sense of accomplishment in the fact that she changed lives for the better? Then again, you never really see her side of the story. Was she happy to leave or did she left out of necessity for her subjects to grow? I really want to know how she felt moving place to place and if she ever wanted to settle down. I wonder if that feeling of not being needed ever set in or did she leave before that? In all aspects of it, regular people can relate to the character of Mary Poppins; helping and being wanted for help. But what happens when everything comes together? All that time helping, all that work put in and then you reach the pinnacle of growth … Or your invested time is wasted because change is not wanted. Whose call is it to leave? The value of your help is measured not in success but in pure action because you helped. Remember that everyone needs help sometimes, even the people that help the most.

I love how we realize things.  Sometimes they come as a great epiphany or as a simple statement or as advice from the least reputable source. But nonetheless it still holds true that the best advice is the one that you give out the most. Life has a funny way of putting it, she (because for a guy life is a “she” and for girls “she” is a “he”; that’s what i think) likes to throw you a curve ball every time you think you have a handle on things while at the same time you’re still dealing with other things. It seems vary apparent that the world does not want you to succeed; that it craves your demise when in fact it’s the exact opposite.  You get many opportunities to do just that: succeed. the only question is are we looking at them or blinded by the shiny things that are placed in front of us. I find it liberating that in all it’s awesomeness that we all have the potential to win at life, at love, at money, at every single thing we do. But who holds us back? Step into the bathroom and look in the mirror. YES, ourselves. We like nothing more than to limit our understanding, our morals, our drive, our feelings, our lives. The time is right to look deep within ourselves to understand that it’s OK to feel happy, that it’s fine to want something.  We need not hold back and wish, but act and learn. This year to many is one of growth, of learning, and of commitment.  So remember the advice you love to give to others and start living by your own words.
